Celebrate World Tibet Day
Ever wondered what hundreds of singing bowls playing together would sound like? Find out this Saturday and help us set a World Record!
Ten Thousand Villages of Austin will be at the Texas State Capitol Open Air Rotunda this Saturday, July 6th at 9:30am to celebrate World Tibet Day ringing over 250 singing bowls in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record. These singing bowls were handmade by artisans in Nepal to produce a unique sound and physical vibration that can be felt for relaxation.
We need YOU to make this happen! Bring your bowl and meet us at the Open Air Rotunda this Saturday at 9:30a. Singing bowls are for sale at the store before and after the event. A limited number will be available for “check out” during the event with a valid ID. Sales are not allowed at the Capitol. We’ll have water for all participants. RSVP here.
Let’s take a musical journey to the highest Himalaya and enjoy the unique beauty of Tibetan culture! Hope to see you there!
